What to offer

Start at the suggested offer, counter up, and walk away above the no-deal price. The suggested offer is rounded down to an easy number, so it can leave a little more than 30%.
Where to sell is ranked best first; tap one to check its price. Quickflips pays its quote with no fees and free shipping. eBay shows the typical sold price; offers use what's left after fees.
The % is your return on what you pay: profit divided by your price. Profit is what you'd get selling the way shown, less what you paid.
eBay figures are our estimate: the typical sold price less about 13.6% in eBay fees and $1.40 for the order fee and packing. eBay takes longer to sell, so its offers leave a bigger return.
Include shipping in what you pay, and check condition and region before you buy.

* eBay is the typical sold price. Offers and profit use what's left after eBay's fees and packing, about 13.6% plus $1.40.
At a garage sale or flea market? For a loose copy, offer $15 and don't go past $18. That still leaves a fair return when you sell.
On eBay now
Nothing on eBay under the $18 no-deal price right now. Copies usually list online for more than that, so this one is a better find in person: garage sales, flea markets, thrift stores, and bulk lots. Search eBay →
